Accessibility statement
Last reviewed while reTrippr operates in test mode.
Our commitment
reTrippr is built to be usable by as many people as possible, whatever their abilities or the way they browse. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and we treat accessibility as part of building the product — not an afterthought.
What we do to make reTrippr accessible
- Keyboard access. Every interactive control — links, buttons, menus, form fields and the checkout — can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone. A "Skip to content" link is the first focusable element on every page.
- Visible focus. A clear, consistent focus outline shows where you are as you tab through a page.
- Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, we do not autoplay the decorative home-page video and we switch scroll and hover animations off. You can set this in your operating system's accessibility settings.
- Readable colour and text. We design for sufficient colour contrast, text that reflows and scales when you zoom, and layouts that work down to small screens.
- Meaningful structure. Pages use proper headings, landmarks and labels so screen readers can navigate them. Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; purely decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Labelled forms. Form fields have visible labels, and errors are announced and described in text rather than by colour alone.
- No colour-only cues. Status and errors are conveyed with text and icons, not colour by itself.
Known limitations
reTrippr is a pre-launch product under active development, and some areas have not yet been fully audited against every WCAG 2.2 AA success criterion. Third-party components — for example our identity-verification and payment steps, which are provided by regulated partners — are outside our direct control, though we choose providers that take accessibility seriously. If you hit a barrier anywhere, please tell us (below) and we will prioritise a fix.
Tell us about a problem
If you cannot use part of reTrippr because of an accessibility barrier, or you need information in a different format, email support@retrippr.com. Please describe the page and what went wrong, and tell us the assistive technology or settings you use if you can — it helps us reproduce the issue. We aim to reply within a few working days.
How we test
We check reTrippr with a mix of automated tooling and manual keyboard and screen-reader testing, and we review new features against WCAG 2.2 AA as we build them. This statement will be updated as our coverage grows and before launch.
