Simulation mode — payments, identity checks and document scans are simulated. No real money moves.

How it works

How reTrippr works

We connect someone who can no longer take a package holiday with someone who wants it — and hold the money safely until the booking is transferred into the buyer's name.

Buying a holiday

1

Find a holiday and see the full price

Browse live listings. The price you see already includes reTrippr's fee, so there's nothing to add at checkout. A seller can never ask for more than they originally paid.

2

Pay securely

You pay through a regulated payment provider, which holds the money securely. reTrippr never holds your funds in its own account. Nothing is released to the seller yet.

3

The booking transfers to you

The seller arranges the operator's name-change so the booking is reissued in your name. Once that's confirmed, the holiday is yours and the funds are released to the seller.

4

If the transfer can't be completed

If the booking can't be transferred into your name, you are refunded. You don't carry the risk of the name-change failing.

Selling a holiday

1

List your booking

Tell us about your holiday and upload your booking confirmation. We check that it's with a supported operator and that it can actually be transferred before it goes live. Your asking price can't exceed what you paid.

2

Verify your identity

Before you can be paid, you complete a quick identity check. This keeps the marketplace trustworthy for buyers and is required to release funds to you.

3

A buyer pays securely

When a verified buyer purchases your holiday, their payment is held safely while the transfer is arranged.

4

The transfer completes and you're paid

Once the operator reissues the booking in the buyer's name, the funds are released to you, less reTrippr's fee and the operator's name-change fee. See pricing for a worked example.
