Trust & safety

How reTrippr protects every deal

Buying a holiday from a stranger should feel as safe as buying from a shop. Here's exactly how we protect both sides.

Your money is held securely

Payments are held by a regulated payment provider — never in reTrippr's own accounts. The seller is only paid once the holiday has been transferred into the buyer's name. If the transfer can't be completed, the buyer is refunded.

Sellers are identity-verified

Before any funds can be released, a seller completes an identity check. This keeps anonymous or fraudulent sellers out of the marketplace.

Every booking is checked

We confirm a booking is with a supported operator and can actually be transferred before it goes live — and the asking price can never exceed what the seller paid.

Your data is encrypted

Identity and booking details are encrypted at rest and only used to arrange the transfer. See our privacy policy for the full detail.

The seller carries out the transfer

The seller arranges the operator's official name-change to put the booking in the buyer's name. reTrippr holds the payment securely and releases it only once the transfer is confirmed — and refunds the buyer if it can't be completed.

ATOL protection stays with the operator

reTrippr is not a tour operator or package organiser. Any ATOL protection on a holiday is provided by the original operator (such as TUI or loveholidays) and carries across with the booking — it is not provided by reTrippr.

reTrippr is currently in test mode: no real payments are processed and no real bookings are transferred.
