Is my money safe?
Yes. Your payment is held securely by a regulated payment provider — never in reTrippr's own accounts — and is only released to the seller once the booking has been transferred into your name.
What happens if the transfer fails?
If the booking can't be transferred into your name, you are refunded. The seller isn't paid until the transfer is confirmed, so you don't carry that risk.
Is reTrippr a travel agent? What about ATOL?
No. reTrippr is a classifieds marketplace and payment intermediary — not a tour operator, travel agent or package organiser. Any ATOL protection on a holiday is provided by the original operator (such as TUI or loveholidays) and carries across with the booking; it is not provided by reTrippr.
Which operators can I buy and sell from?
reTrippr currently supports bookings made through TUI and loveholidays, where the operator permits a name-change. We'll add more over time.
How much does it cost?
Buyers pay the asking price plus a flat 5% fee. Sellers pay a 5% success fee plus the operator's name-change fee. See the pricing page for a full worked example.
Can a seller charge more than they paid?
No. An asking price can never be higher than the price the seller originally paid for the holiday. This is enforced when a listing is created.
How do I know the seller is genuine?
Sellers complete an identity check before any funds can be released to them, and every booking is verified as transferable before it's listed.
Is reTrippr live yet?
reTrippr is currently in test mode: no real payments are processed and no real bookings are transferred. We'll announce when we go live.
