Cookie notice

Pre-launch draft.

Draft — pending legal review. This document is a working draft, published for transparency while reTrippr operates in test mode. It is not yet a binding agreement and will be finalised with a qualified solicitor before launch.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help a website work and remember your session. This notice explains how reTrippr uses them.

2. The cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary (always on) — to keep you signed in (sessionid), to protect forms against cross-site request forgery (csrftoken), to show one-off status messages, and to remember your cookie choice (cookie_consent). The site cannot function without these, so they do not require consent.
  • Preferences — to remember basic choices you make, where applicable.
  • Analytics (off by default) — we do not currently use any. If we add analytics cookies in future they will stay switched off until you consent.

3. Cookies set during payment

When you pay, you are taken to Stripe's secure checkout. Stripe sets its own cookies (__stripe_mid and __stripe_sid) on Stripe's domain to process the payment securely and prevent fraud. These are set by Stripe, not reTrippr, and are governed by Stripe's own privacy and cookie policies.

4. Manage your choice

reTrippr does not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. When you first visit, we ask whether to accept all cookies or only the necessary ones, and remember your answer. You can change your mind at any time by deleting cookies through your browser settings; the next visit will ask again. The site may not work correctly without the strictly necessary cookies.

5. More information
